motivated professionals working individually for the uplift of society
, decided to institutionalize their activities and work together with
special emphasis on the rights of women and children.
It
is a non-profit, non-governmental organization aiming to strengthen
the process of socio-economic development and empowerment of the disadvantaged
sections of the society, at the grassroots level, through transfer

We firmly believe that the permanent solution to improve communities
can only be achieved by developing their ability to mobilize, manage
and control local and external resources by themselves. Our method to
get there is through empowering women, the builder of the future.
Its working committee
includes journalists, academicians, social activists, psychiatrists,
environmentalists and other professional. WEG is working inthe form
of a group, that's why its structure is totally non-hierarchical.

To build the capacity
of the communities to empower them to a level, where they can take over
the socio-economic development of the area by themselves and creation
of an enabling environment for women to realize their potential fully
at all levels.
